We live very close to the coast so evacuated for Hurricane Ike on Wed. night. We are staying with our friends Aaron & Amber near Austin and waiting to see what is going to happen. Wednesday was alot of work, especially for Corry, with taking care of boarding up the music store and moving stuff off of the floor as much as possible, tying down the boat, and packing and loading up our personal stuff. Besides the normal stuff you pack, we brought with us all of our pictures and photo albums, Corry's suits and work shoes, his guitars, important files and documents, food from the refrigerator and freezers, laptop, and of course the dog and kids ;) It definitely feels funny trying to decide what you should take in the event that your house is flooded or gone when you return; the entire time wondering if this is all for nothing again. Which, if that is the case, I will be more than thrilled, but it stills goes through my head while packing things up.
So, for now, we are enjoying a nice little vacation and just waiting to see what is going to happen with Ike.

Glad you are Safe and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Good thing you didn't forget the dog and kids :-)
Praying that there will not be much damage/flooding and that it was "all for nothing" after all.
Keep us updated as you guys find out.
