Halloween '09

We had a fun Halloween this year thanks to our friends, The Plumlee's, who hosted a Halloween party and trick-or-treat hayride.

We started out at the music store so everyone could see the girls' costumes and to pick up Corry.

Corry was an alien and I was Homeland Security. All of the kids were pretty creeped out by his mask!


Next stop was The Plumlee's house to go on the hayride. Autumn & Shelby with Hannah & Emily and their friend Ella in the middle.

Walking the streets trick-or-treating...we walked a while and then rode a while when the kids got tired. I'm waiting for the year when my kids don't poop out before we do. They are always ready to stop before their buckets are full!

On the way back to the house at the end of the night it had gotten pretty cool and the kids huddled under a blanket!

Bobbing for apples without the water because it was too cold- quite a bit easier for them, though!

Shelby was so tired from all of the festivities that she fell asleep in our 5-minute drive home in her witch costume! You know that's when they've had a good time!
