Little collectors

Do these scenes look familiar to anyone??? Autumn and Shelby are constantly collecting similar items and putting them all in the same place, usually with a purpose. In the picture below, the babies were taking a nap, all one thousand of them.

This morning they had show & tell and carted the contents of half of a toy box out for it.
They also like to find every single puppy that they have and put it in a bag, every barbie, every bow from their bathroom, and on and on...

Alli and TJ do this occasionally (all the trucks lined up in a row, or all the barbies down for a nap), but not quite to the extent that it looks like Autumn and Shelby have taken it.
Melissa might have a few stories for you though- Jack is a bit of a master sorter, toy liner-upper, or collector- whatever you want to call it.
Looks like it probably keeps them occupied for a long time and for that reason, I would welcome it :-)

Wow! This is amazing. At least they are organized. I wish the girls would line up all 100 of their Barbies, babies, etc. This is too cute! Your girls are too cute for words!

Yes, I know all about lining things up. Our was more of an OCD thing than a fun play activity.

I will tell you one thing... it's a really quick reminder that these kids have WAY TOO MUCH STUFF! You don't realize how many babies they have until they are all in a collection on the bed, huh?

In our house, it's Hot Wheels and Dinosaurs. And they don't grasp "some kids would be thankful to have just ONE special dinosaur!"
