Ronald McDonald

Ronald McDonald came to our library the other day and had a little magic show for the kids. Autumn loved it but kept asking "Why isn't he talking to me?" She wanted him to talk directly to her and not the rest of the crowd. So she was very happy when at the end she was able to take a picture with him and he talked to her for a few seconds!

Shelby on the other hand was scared to death of Ronald. She spent most of her time in my lap with her head down on my shoulder trying not to look at him. So no picture of Shelby & Ronald! Later that night we were looking at a book and it happened to have a picture of a clown in it and she said "I don't like it. He scary!" It never occurred to me that Ronald McDonald would have been scary but come to think of it and looking at the picture of him he is kind of scary looking!
