Father's Day

Wow, it has been crazy busy for us with the music store. We moved to a new location in Lake Jackson the weekend before last and moving a business has turned out to be a LOT of work! I think things may slow down for us a little bit pretty soon, hopefully, fingers crossed! The new location is really nice, though, and is going to be better all the way around.


We have all been working practically around the clock getting everything out of the old store and getting it cleaned up and then trying to get things the way we want them at the new store. We did finally get a break this past Sunday on Father's Day, at least until evening. We went to Corry's aunt and uncle's house and visited with family. I bought the girls a slip 'n slide to take and we also took a sprinkler because I knew Autumn would not last outside if she didn't have some water to play in.

They were so funny to watch trying to learn how to slide on the slip 'n slide. I didn't have my bathing suit so couldn't demonstrate but their second cousin Garrett and a couple of his cousins slid with them and demonstrated. Autumn started getting the hang of it after a few attempts but would only do it on her knees, not on her belly. Shelby was hilarious- she would run the entire length of the slip 'n slide and then jump into the water at the end.
