Lazy summer days

Man, have we had some lazy days over the past couple of weeks. Most of it due to Shelby being sick for a little while and then lots and lots of rain. We have managed to squeeze some fun in between it all, though.

Here are the girls one evening dressed in shirts- on the head, chest, and waist! Shortly before this they also came out walking in Corry and my pillow cases and had giant tutus on their head.

We learned that All Stars Pizza here in town that has bouncy slides and jumpers has open play three afternoons a week during the summer so we did that one afternoon.

Shelby at friend Hannah's birthday party...yeah, not the best picture with the bathing suit adjustment going on!

Shelby kept yelling at me from across the yard to take a picture of her and you can barely see her little head.

Autumn & Hannah

Here the rain has begun...the kids played and danced in the rain for a little while.

Headed to Gammy & Granddad's house while Corry & I go out to dinner for our anniversary.
Shelby waiting patiently for Gammy to arrive...
We also met up with our friends Ana, Kayla, & Leanna and saw Toy Story 3 and let the kids play at Chick-Fil-A afterwards...before all of the rain last week...but I took no pictures. The kids enjoyed the movie, even with the creepy Lotso Bear and Babydoll, and I did, too. We had a great time at Chick-Fil-A and I love how the kids are old enough to play in the kid's area while we sat on the other side of the glass and could actually talk! Our girls are all the same age, with Shelby and Kayla three days apart and Leanna and Autumn two months apart. It's so neat to see how they go through similar stages- right now the big one for us is Autumn leaving Shelby out when playing with other kids and Leanna & Kayla were having the same issues. The big girls feel a lot older than their little sisters and think they are so much more mature of course!
