Derik & Crystal's Wedding

Derik & Crystal were married this past weekend. They had a beautiful wedding at a place called the Admiral in Seabrook. It was a beautiful place with big glass windows and a long balcony overlooking the water. We are so excited for them as they begin their new life together.

(Excuse my pictures, it was either too bright half the time for my camera or I was dealing with the lens fogging up when we sent outside.)

The beautiful bride and groom

The girls insisted on fancy dresses for the wedding...just a normal dress hanging in there closet was not going to work for these princesses. We found them super cute dresses and they even got to dress alike- a small thrill for them. Here they are trying the whole outfit on the day before the wedding.

Me doing my best to get at least one picture of them together before the wedding started.

Saying hi to Ms. Crystal and their cousins before the ceremony.

Exchanging rings...

Corry giving a toast...he pulled it off with one minute's notice!

Julie & Dwaine- cute picture of you guys, the background almost looks fake!

The wind kicked up a bit when we tried to take a family picture.

Shelby was quite the entertainer and put on a show for us all. My favorite move was when she crouched down, turned in circles, and put her hands by her mouth kind of like they were little paws. I had no idea what she was doing but later asked her and she said it was her "chicks patching out of their eggs" move.

Dancing with the groom and Gammy.

The bride & groom making their exit...

Ah, I remember that feeling...two newly married lovebirds on their way to fun & relaxation on their honeymoon.

Ha- it does look like we're standing in front of a backdrop- but the greenish brown "Clear Lake" water does not make for a great fake background.
Had so much fun with you guys as always.
Loved watching Shelby dance- couldn't help but think how cool it must be for Kenny watching his grand-daughter dance to his band at his son's wedding with all the family around- doesn't get much better than that.
