We had lots of fun at the beach with our Landry friends last week. It was the perfect beach day- blue skies, somehow not too hot, the sand was clean with no seaweed, the tide was out so we had lots of beach to play on, and the water seemed cleaner with the green close enough to swim to. It was the perfect day until the end when Kayla was stung by a jellyfish. Poor thing had bumps all over on her legs and stomach. We had been there for hours, though, so at least she had a good time until that event! Mental note...put meat tenderizer in the car for future occurences. Kayla's dad, Pat, suggested that she let pee run down her legs but she wasn't going for it.

Yay for a pic with moms! Gotta love that. Looks like a great day. Wished we lived a little closer to the beach- as much as I don't like the sand and saltwater, we still manage to have so much fun when we go.
