Our long-awaited boat ride!

We have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting to go out on the boat. I cannot even remember how long it has been since the girls have been out on the boat. I'm guessing the summer before last. Neither of them can remember ever riding on the boat, so it's been awhile! It was neglected for a while when we were all too busy with buying and moving the music store. No one saw the boat much that summer and repairs and maintenance needs were neglected. So, last summer, when we had a little more time to go to the boat, Corry ended up working on it and repairing one thing after another. Just when he thought it was ready to take out, something else would come up. Fast forward to this January and the boat actually left it's slip! It was a little chilly, and there is yet another repair to be made before we can take a longer trip, but it was progress!
