We decided to buy a Family Season Pass to Moody Gardens this year and made our first trip over there the other day. We went to the Dolpins & Whales Imax and to the Dinosaur exhibit.
These first few pictures are of the kids playing around in a skull (there's a bones exhibit) while we waited for the Imax to start.
The girls in their 3D glasses for the Imax show. They liked the show for about the first 10 minutes. Shelby was hilarious trying to reach out and grab things and almost falling out of her chair doing it! They were both scared when the big whales started coming out of the screen and took off their glasses the rest of the time. They were pretty much scared or bored to death for the remainder of the show! Corry & I REALLY enjoyed it, though! It has been a long time since I have been to an Imax show. The funny thing is, we thought we picked the mildest show we could so that they wouldn't be scared. Our other choices were dinosaurs or sharks!
Posing with their dad outside...Shelby had to be carried the entire time because the strap on one of her sandals broke!
Corry was pretending to feed Shelby to the dinosaur. Both girls were a little scared in this exhibit, too. It was neat but not anything either of them are too into. It was an educational experience regardless!
Autumn trying to touch one of the dinosaurs but chickening out!

WOW! That is quite a tongue that Autumn has :-) You think they could make some kid sized glasses right? But then it wouldn't look as cute in the pic I guess.
That place has a lot more than it used to- does the season pass get you into everything?
That should be fun!
Yes, we all compared tongues last night and apparently she has my tongue. With these long tongues neither of us can touch our noses, though. Strange, huh?
And yes, Imax really needs to update their 3D glasses. I had to hold Shelby's on in order for her to wear them.
The season pass is for everything- the pool and splashpad, paddlewheel boat, aquarium, rainforest, other various exhibits, imax, Christmas festival of lights, and they usually show the Polar Express at Christmas! I'm excited to have the pass because usually when we go there it really breaks your wallet to do more than 1 or 2 things.
