Corry is on the Board and is an officer for the Economic Development Alliance of Brazoria County and was asked for the second year to attend an Aviation Convention supporting the Angleton Airport. It is in Orlando this year and since Corry is driving and pulling a trailer with the setup for the convention, we decided that this would be the perfect opportunity to take the girls. The actual convention is Tues.-Thurs. and we are planning to arrive in Orlando on Saturday and will be returning home Sunday of the next week. Corry will go with us a couple of days to Disney and a couple of other days we will probably go alone during the day and go back with him in the evening. Carly is going to stay with my mom and Corry's mom while we are gone. It would be way too much driving and not as fun for her so we will just have to take her when she is older.
We kept it a surprise for the girls and finally told them last night! We were going to wait until the night before we leave but it was getting a little complicated with a field trip that we found out about last week and the girls wanting to know why I wasn't returning the permission slip. In hindsight, I should have just returned it and emailed the teachers to let them know why I returned it!
So last night, we made pancakes in the shape of Mickey Mouse. When the girls sat down to eat Corry told them that they weren't going to be able to go on the field trip and that it just wasn't going to work out. Then, I came out with shirts I ordered that say DisneyWorld with their names on them and gift cards for DisneyWorld. The audio on the video didn't turn out very good but with that intro you'll understand what's going on!
