The Mosquito Festival...

...was HOT. We were all so, so hot.  We hit a few of the kiddie spots, mainly the petting zoo, hay dive, and the girls played one carnival game that they were guaranteed to win an inflatable toy.  It wasn't much of a game at all- more of a take our money and give us a fifty cent toy.  I'm not a big carnival fan.  :)  Needless to say, we didn't stay very long because of the heat and cost of everything but that was okay. 

  

The girls were really hot!  We haven't been going out much since it's been so hot and are used to the AC! 

A hay dive doesn't look appealing at all in 100 degree weather- but the girls loaded up on candy and money so it was worth it to them. 

The mascot of the festival- one good thing about the drought is that we haven't seen too many of these guys this year.
