St. Patty's Day Parade

We went to the St. Patrick's Day parade in Surfside for the second year in a row and the girls had a blast again.  It's such a fun little parade one street off of the beach and all of the cars, golfcarts, motorcycles, and everything in-between decorate their vehicles in green and Mardi Gras colors.  They throw out beads and candy (the girls also caught a frisbee, stocking cap from TGI Friday's, and koozies!)  Autumn and Shelby had so much fun catching everything.  We told them to wave to everyone when it first started.  They started out with the one hand and quickly picked it up to waving with both hands thinking that would get them more candy.  They were hilarious to watch!  They would wave furiously, catch the candy or necklaces thrown, and try to get it in their bag as fast as possible so that they could get back to waving.  They both ended up with a plastic grocery bag stuffed full.

Decked out in their green shirts (Autumn reminded me for two weeks that she needed a green shirt for the parade!)
