Sunflower Festival at Manna Fields

This was our first time out to Manna Fields in Angleton- a farm with different activities like a cow train ride, hayrides, mazes, jumping pillow, etc... They had a Sunflower Festival last weekend and had rows and rows of giant sunflowers. We went with the intent of taking pictures in front of the flowers and picking flowers to bring home. Well, the pictures taken in front of the actual flowers are not too good because it was too sunny and windy in the spot where we tried to take pictures. We also didn't pick any flowers because we saved that for last and were all too hot and tired to mess with it! We had lots of fun, though, and the girls were busy running from one activity to the next.

This is the cowtrain that is pulled by a tractor...we learned not to sit in the first cow behind the tractor next time. When the kids got back from the ride, Autumn had her arm around Shelby and as soon as Shelby saw me she started crying. Both of their faces had specks of dirt all over because the tractor had been blowing dirt on them the whole time. This picture is before their departure so they still look happy!

The roller slide....

Shelby only slid once...and I'm surprised she did that. She's scared of heights and pretty much any kind of ride!

We went on a hayride and fed cows...

An area where the kids played with dried corn...

The jumping pillow...

One of the prize-winning photos in front of the flowers...with both of their eyes closed...
