We had a busy, fun Easter weekend with family and friends all while toting along a feverish Carly who just can't kick her cold/sinus infection and now ear infection. She is a pretty good sport, though, when she has some Advil in her. :) We started out our Easter morning with the kids waking to find their Easter baskets. We didn't get to go to church since most parents aren't too fond of snotty, feverish babies joining their child in the nursery (or at least I'm not) and Carly does not sit quietly, or sit at all, in church. So, we had our own version of celebrating Jesus with finding and listening to our favorite worship songs on Youtube. :) We then cleaned up and went to my parents' house for lunch & Corry's parents' house for dinner.
The girls are at a point where they like spending the night with everyone. Their 4-day Easter break consisted of staying with their cousins and Derik & Crystal one night, my parents the next night, and Corry's parents the night of Easter.
