January Wrap-Up

I think I have a record low of pictures for January since owning a digital camera! January is always kind of a slow month for us in general just because it's cold and there's not usually a whole lot going on. The girls did go to a few birthday parties on the weekends and had fun with their friends. On the pretty days we try to get outside or to the park after school but on the cold days we usually hole up in the house.

Here's a picture I took of Shelby on a freezing cold day and she changed into this summer outfit when she got home from school! She doesn't like wearing pants, long sleeves, or tights. I will be glad when she can wear her dresses and nothing on her legs again so that we don't have to discuss why she has to dress warmer- EVERY DAY.

A warmer day when the girls decided to pick up sticks after a rainstorm had littered our yard with them.

A typical day immediately after getting home from school. They usually like to rest and watch a show.

Autumn has spent the final weekend in January sick with a high fever. Tomorrow, January 31st, is Autumn's 100th day celebration at school that she has been so excited about and she is probably going to miss it. She is so bummed about that. They have all kinds of fun activities planned and snacks to celebrate.

On to February and a little more going on around here with Valentine's Day, Shelby's bike rodeo, the Daddy & Daughter dance, Corry & my dating anniversary of 16 years, Autumn taking a "beadazzled" class at Brazosport college on Saturdays (arts & crafts with beads), and the last full month before the baby is here!
