Zoo Boo

My mom, Megan & I took the kids to the zoo last weekend and went to the highly advertised "Zoo Boo". Everyone had a good time but I doubt we would go again just for Zoo Boo alone. They gave out little treat bags when we arrived but then only had three candy stations (that we saw anyways) and were very sparing with the candy. Megan got one little tootsie roll at one station and a bigger one at the other (maybe we only went to two stations because that's all she got). It was just kind of silly to hand out treat bags when that was all they gave.

The other things they had going on were pumpkin painting, picture set-ups with hay bales, some little cemetary with names of extinct animals that the girls cared nothing about, and I think they might have had some type of Halloween show going on in the children's section.

We did get some cute pictures, though!

We also made it to see the elephants at Autumn's request and I learned that Shelby thinks a baby elephant is a baby cow. Our goal this week is to learn a few more animals :)

At least they're getting lots of good use out of those costumes!!! And you did get some really cute pics.
TJ thinks a lot of animals are cows too- especially horses. It's overwhelming sometimes to think about how much they have to learn, but then you look at Alli and Autumn and realize they know all kinds of stuff that we never even taught them. It's pretty amazing.
