Summer 2013

Summer has come & gone in a flash! It was a short one for us with the girls officially starting back to school on August 10th.
They were both on the swim team this summer and learned SO much from it. We traveled to swim competitions a few weekends and saw them both drastically improve each time. We also went to Missouri in June and stayed with the Wicker's. We took the girls around Branson and did the cheesy Duck Tours (it was fun & interesting for a one time thing, though), toured the Titanic Museum, the girls rode bumper boats & played arcade games, saw the fish hatchery, went swimming, rented a pontoon boat on Table Rock Lake, and stopped in Hot Springs on the way back and stayed the night. We had a couple of fantastic meals there and went to the Alligator Farm which was awesome!
Other than that, we have stayed busy some days with swimming, library events, and playdates but also enjoyed days in our pjs! We celebrated Shelby's birthday for an entire week and visited with my Maryland family for a week but hopefully I will get around to posting all of that soon!

One of the girls' first swim meets...always early in the morning!
